The Pneumatic Operated 2-Way Plug Valve is a lubricated taper plug valve designed for reliable ON–OFF isolation and throttling control in demanding industrial applications. The valve operates on a quarter-turn rotary motion, providing fast response, compact installation, and bubble-tight shut-off.
The lubricated taper plug design minimizes friction between the plug and valve body, ensuring smooth operation, low operating torque, and consistent sealing over long service life. These valves are available in regular and short pattern construction with square stems for positive torque transmission.
For larger sizes and higher torque requirements, the valve is assembled with heavy-duty pneumatic actuators, selected based on service pressure, media type, and operating conditions. The pneumatic actuation ensures quick operation, fail-safe capability, and easy integration with automation systems, making the valve suitable for continuous industrial service.
