The 1450 Series Electric Operated Plug Valve is a lubricated taper plug valve engineered for reliable ON-OFF and throttling control in a wide range of industrial applications. Designed with a simple yet robust construction, the valve delivers smooth operation, low operating torque, and tight shut-off, even after long periods of continuous service.
These valves are available in regular and short pattern cast-iron construction with square stems to ensure positive torque transmission. For larger sizes, the valve is assembled with heavy-duty electric actuators, carefully selected based on service conditions and operating torque requirements.
