3-Way Pneumatic Angle Valve

3-Way Pneumatic Angle Valve – 1163 Series

3-Way Angle Valves are high-performance flow control valves engineered for mixing, diverting, or switching flow paths in process piping systems where space efficiency and directional control are essential.

The angled body design enables smooth flow redirection with minimal pressure loss while maintaining excellent shut-off performance. With a three-port configuration, these valves efficiently control multiple flow paths using a single valve—reducing piping complexity, installation space, and system cost.

Designed for both manual and automated operation, 3-Way Angle Valves can be fitted with pneumatic or electric actuators, making them ideal for modern, fully automated industrial processes.

An infinitely rotatable actuator allows flexible pneumatic connections in any mounting orientation. The compact, water-hammer-free construction ensures stable, quiet, and reliable operation in steam, air, gas, coolant, and liquid applications.

Built with a robust stainless-steel body, high-performance PTFE or PPL seals, and durable PA, SS, or PPS actuators, these valves deliver exceptional reliability in high-temperature, corrosive, and demanding industrial environments.

Design & Construction:

The angled body design enables smooth flow redirection with minimal pressure loss while maintaining excellent shut-off performance. An infinitely rotatable actuator allows flexible pneumatic connections in any mounting orientation. The compact, water-hammer-free construction ensures stable, quiet, and reliable operation in steam, air, gas, coolant, and liquid applications. Built with a robust stainless-steel body, high-performance PTFE or PPL seals, and durable PA, SS, or PPS actuators.

Working Principle:

Air-to-Open (Normally Closed)
• Compressed air lifts the piston and stem.
• Valve opens, releasing high-volume media.
Spring Return / Air Exhaust
• Removing air supply allows the internal spring to close the valve.
• Ensures instant, secure closure without water hammer.
Double Acting Operation
• Air pressure applied for both opening and closing.
• Provides consistent, powerful actuation without spring wear.

Automation & Control Options:

  • Control Functions: Normally Closed (NC) OR Normally Opened
  • Single Acting / Double Acting Actuators for precise operation
  • PPS Actuator for high-temperature or outdoor applications
  • Tri-Clamp (Sanitary) End Connections for hygiene-critical industries

Key Features & Advantages

  • Smooth flow redirection with minimal pressure loss
  • Three-port configuration reduces piping complexity
  • Infinitely rotatable actuator for flexible installation
  • Water-hammer-free construction for stable operation
  • Stainless steel construction suitable for demanding environments

Optional Accessories:

  • Position Feedback Switch / Limit switch indicator
  • Proximity sensor
  • Electro-Pneumatic Positioner
  • NAMUR Pilot Solenoid Valve
  • Adjustable Stroke Limiting Screws
  • PID Controller with PT-100 Sensor
  • Manual Override
  • FDA-Grade Sealing Materials (Ra value of 0.6µm or better)

Typical Applications:

3-Way Pneumatic Angle Valves are designed for mixing, diverting, and switching flow paths in automated systems where space efficiency, fast response, and precise directional control are essential. These valves are ideal for handling steam, air, gas, coolant, and liquid media, especially in compact piping layouts requiring multi-directional flow control with minimal pressure loss.
